<P class=StoryText align=justify>Horace Reid, who is a FIFA venue inspector, will leave the island today for Trinidad and Tobago where he will conduct security checks on a number of the twin-island republic's football stadia.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Reid, a former general secretary of the Jamaica Football Federation and current executive director of the Caribbean Football Union's marketing division, is expected to do other inspections in CONCACAF this month.<P class=StoryText align=justify>These inspections are in keeping with FIFA's new security concept which will be done on all venues where World Cup qualification games will be played for South Africa 2010.
In May, Reid said yesterday, he is also down to conduct more of these security inspections at a number of stadia in Europe in May.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Following his mission to Trinidad, Reid will depart for the USA where he will act as match commissioner for the CONCACAF Club Championships semi-final between the USA's Houston Dynamo and Mexico's Club Pachuca in Texas on Wednesday.
