  • Marlon King dropped from World Cup qualifier

    June 3, 2012

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Jamaica Football Federation wishes to advise that Head Coach of the National Senior team, Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore has taken the decision to drop Marlon King and Chris Humphrey from the squad for the first two World Cup Qualifying games for breaking curfew rules.

This decision is consistent with the head’s Coach’s zero tolerance approach for acts of indiscipline and indiscretion.

The team has returned to its training base at Braco and will continue preparations for the opening World Cup Qualifier on Friday, June 8 at
8:30 pm at the National Stadium.

Scape goat of a broken program,Tappa has no balla management skill.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Hey, fully agree with that, good move Tappa. Wondered whether King was going to cause some drama, got to keep that guy fully involved that is why I was surprised by how little he was played. So it go, just lost the best player on paper and worst yet a proficient striker. Anyway look like him heart wasn't in it anyway so there you go and humphreys join in the fun too, same thing if not interested why bother sign up, wasting everyone's time. What them older ones used to say, 'what gawn bad ah mawning cyan come good evening time'

A reasonable person would think King would have learned his lesson the first time. To hell with him.

Hey it is You taking the stats thing to the limit, common sense still needs to prevail, if a man break a rule then he have to suffer the consequences otherwise the team falls apart.
