The USA aims to be WORLD BEATERS/TOP OF THE WORLD! ...and we can
see it in opponents they play friendlies against and how often they play these friendlies.

...and we are currently aiming to be...?

We are busy trying out every Jamaican player on planet Earth...and still we have no idea what our lineup will be.

Klinsman side look like a well oiled machine.

            Karl,

Does Lulu need any consoling? a defeat is tough, but 5 goals isn't easy to take... Hope you all had a pint or two to wash away her disappointment!

Have it to give it to them, the USA looked very good.

                      EverBank Field — Jacksonville, Florida

The United States put together a comprehensive performance in a 5-1 friendly win against Scotland at EverBank Field in Jacksonville.

Landon Donovan led the way with a hat trick after he questioned his own desire to continue playing soccer at a high level earlier in the week. The LA Galaxy captain hadn't played for the national team since September 2011. "It was nice to be back," he said.

Never went...but am sure she had a shoulder to cry on.

On another note: Watching this US victory must have had HL in 7th-Heaven!

Must say that the little I saw suggests the US may be walking with the big soon. They were that good.

Well...let's see how they do against Brazil.

Listen, you hit the nail on the head. A well oiled machine, they don't have to be more skilled on a one by one comparison with the Jcan players, their discipline and now with a sharpened focus from klinsman, this side will start really looking like a German team, which is scary because I believe the us has a better athletic pool of players to choose from, just population size And diversity alone. Discipline on attack and defense will always beat other sides that re lacking in discipline or have a weakness which they ignore, much like brazil 82 against the counter. Us will not make a lot of mistakes, but we will if we don't pull this together soon and if we put in non battle tested units on the field.

This is the thing that we still don't understand and Daley as the Fulcrum of the team in midfield leaves a wicked hole in the most critical part of the field, he is neither a good defender or a fighter on the defensive side of the ball and his lack of speed and anticipation also makes this worse. The us will chew us up and spit us out if we put an untested, non battle ready player Who is not ready to fight and do all necessary to close down space when not on the ball, tight marking etc.

“I know my starting eleven,” said the coach. “But we’re still looking around here and there at players in case of injuries or other things that might emerge.”
