<P class=StoryText align=justify>AS part of its 33rd anniversary, the Harbour View Football Club yesterday announced St Thomas Credit Union as their newest sponsor.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The new alliance saw the institution donating J$1,050,000 to the club this year, which in return gives them the opportunity to use the images of Harbour View players Jermaine Hue and his sister Diana - both national players.

GlaxoSmithKline will also use the images of Jermaine Hue to promote its brand.<P class=StoryText align=justify>In celebrating their 33rd year, the 1999/2000 premiership champions issued plaques to the club's sponsors and the sponsors of the country's top football league for their contribution over the years.
Director of the St Thomas Credit Union, Hopeton Morrison, lauded the club's board of directors for demonstrating an outstanding level of professionalism in developing the sport.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Having "spent over $4 million" during its 10 years of association with football, Morrison hinted at the possibility of building one of its branches on the compound of the mini-stadium, as they intend to extend their service westwards.
In delivering the main address, club chairman Carvel Stewart recalled the "leap of faith" taken on March 4, 1974, when they formed the club.
"If you don't dream you won't get to where you want to go," he told the audience.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Today, Harbour View not only shine brightly in eastern Kingston, but in the entire Jamaica, as they have exported to the international stage by far the most local-bred players which they developed from a young age.<P class=StoryText align=justify>As the club moves forward, Stewart said they are continuing to look at "generating more partnerships", which will enable them to enhance the players' communication skills and build the club's academy, which is still in its embryonic state.
