According to reports in Spain which this article must have also picked up from, the Special One will be taking on the Great One AF to be Manchester's top dog. The deal said to have been done and this coming from a very reputable spainish reporter. Look like its adios Mancini.

Reports are growing in Spain and there seems to be some substance behind them that Jose Mourinho has agreed to take charge of Manchester City next season.
It is believed that Mourinho told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez within the last fortnight of the decision and so far the club have made no effort to deny any of the rumours that are becoming more prevalent within the Spanish press.
If these reports are true, it would certainly be ironic that Real Madrid’s slight stutter as they chase a first La Liga title since 2008 occurred at the same time.
Real Madrid saw their lead trimmed to six points by Barcelona after draws with Malaga and Villarreal and the first of these was around the same time as the talk between Mourinho and Perez.
Therefore, it would not be outrageous to say that Mourinho may have had already dedicated one eye towards next season ahead of Malaga or that word of the situation filtered into the squad who then failed to perform to their best.
It does certainly resemble the situation at Tottenham, where their results began to deteriorate at the same time that Harry Redknapp was being championed for the England vacancy for Euro 2012.
Furthermore, Manchester City have only taken four points from a possible nine in the Premier League to give up ground on Manchester United and the Mourinho saga that has now come to light could have also had a bearing on Roberto Mancini, if he is aware of his probable sack in the summer.
