  • Ricardo Fuller offered new deal

One start, one red card, one new deal for Stoke's Fuller

    Published 22:30 29/03/12 By MirrorFootball

Ricardo Fuller is being offered a new one-year deal – despite being sent off in his only Premier League start this term!
Stoke’s Jamaican hitman saw red in the defeat at Chelsea on March 10, but is still a firm favourite of boss Tony Pulis.
The 32-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and Pulis is urging him to put pen to paper.
“It will be determined, really, by Ricardo as much as anything else," said the Welshman.

“Ricardo and his agent have to decide what they want to do, but Ric doesn’t have anything to prove to anybody at this club.
“He’s a top player and a fantastic lad. He can be a little bit off the wall at times, but that’s Ricardo.”
Fuller is back in Stoke’s squad for Saturday’s trip to Wigan after that Chelsea red card for stamping on Branislav Ivanovic.
Pulis added: “He apologised straight away to everyone. He knew what he did was wrong and his reaction was poor. But it’s water under the bridge now.”
