  • Manchester United NEEDS to beat Spurs next game out.

Why? A win will keep MU 2 points behind the current leaders and I'm of the view that coming out this this string of games in touching distance of MC leaves MU in an excellent poisition.

More important, beating Spurs would give Arsenal and Chelsea hope of finishing in the top 4. Well AVB wants to finish 3rd and Arsenal's goal is top 4. Beating Spurs would leave both teams 4 points behind Spurs, hence giving them the extra motivation to beat Man City when they meet the league leaders.

Oh ... not to get ahead of myself ... MU need to beat Spurs.
