    Peter & Paul we need three players next season

    2 must be sold,Downing & Kuyt.

    1)An attacking midfielder ,that can play in a defensive role to put fiyah under Ferraud and Adam.

    2)We need 2 wingers, Downing has poor crosses and cant shoot straight,Kuyt has a poor 1st touch ,passing is erractic.We need winger who can score and cross, we have neither.

      Was entertaining...interesting game.

      Your team played a coward's game after the first goal...and that is what you lacked - Balls! You surrendered!

      Look at the hard time Torres is going through...? Do you see any of the other players making it his business to get him 'easy' goal-scoring opportunities/easy goals to get him back on track? ...and of that TEAM effort?

      Face it - You have a mentally weak set of players/You have a weak TEAM weak in the mental department!!!!

        Well - we have two of them already - Aquaman and Raheem...although Aquaman is not defensive. As for selling - Kuyt can't go - he adds a work rate that is needed to the team, he just shouldn't start. Downing, what can I say? He is having a poor year after a very good one last year. But here's what I would do as my first team with all men fit:

        ------------------ Reina
        Kelley-------Skrtel------Agger-------Luis
        -----------------Lucas
        Johnson----Adam-----------------Raheem
        -------------------Gerrard
        ----------------------Suarez

        Then I'd sell Carroll, Maxi, Spearing (I know), Shelvey and virtually everyone else and get some proven midfield goal scorers to substitute for Gerrard (who can't be expected to play a whole season) and buy another left back and striker. I'd also keep Bellamy.
