  • JAM - Excellent goal by Joel Grant

    Effort by both teams high. ...but, technical ability poor.

    Our U-20s appear more penetrating. Althought most of our attacks breakdown on or about the opponent's penalty-area. Lack of ideas?

    Jam =1; St Kitts = 0

    ...and, in that 1st half Jamaica plays TEAM. The players now showing that can play TEAM!

    ...so what happened in the previous games? What was the problem?

        More than that! This is the first game that they have been trying to put passes together. In this game, unlike the previous ones, the players are actually looking for each other.

        The irony is Joel Grant may be the only player who has not yet tried to pass to another member of his team.

        Aside: The goalkeeper is acting the part. he has made a few plays...correct plays, as our last outfielder. Good! Very good!

            I missed the 2nd half. ...but, I came back in time to see St. Kitts and Nevis had equalised.

            ...and yes, this game is 'miles' slower than either of our games vs Costa Rica and Mexico, therefore our U-20s would have trouble putting the passes together...but, the fact remains that in our earlier we not even trying to put passes together.
