This entire debacle is a great example of widespread incompetence and/or poor judgement from all of:

1. The FA
2. The FA tribunal
3. Evra and Suarez
4. Liverpool's owners and managers
5. Liverpool's lawyers
6. The press
7. Football administration within UEFA, FIFA and the PFA

I could go through and list my reasoning for each, but I'll spare you. The truth of the matter is that this is going to blow some serious holes in the game and will stain the prem for many months to come (if not years). Well done FA, well done - you handled this beautifully. I mean, why would you think that convicting a player of a racist act but then saying he's not a racist would be understood by the masses? Unbelievable.

Anyway - this latest incident appears to me to be a random act of stupidity and racism if the alleged events are as reported in the article. If true, then Liverpool FC have to take the responsibility and deal with the punishment. I would hope this is an easier case to prove/disprove than the Evra/Suarez debacle and will be handled by more competent adjudicators.
