Manu** were also lucky not to have conceded two other penalty calls that could easily have been given with Berbatov yanking on Samba's shirt. There were a few interesting take aways from that game for me.
First, the goalies - Bunn is a very good goalie and my guess is that he'll remain Rovers' number one and could be a rising star of the future. De Gea should not have been the starter, he is a weak link of sorts in the Manu** back line, not good in the air and made a shamble of things on that last goal.
Second, Manu** don't have the leadership skills required to mount a sustained comeback even against much inferior opposition (although give Blackburn their due). Without a senior player pushing the buttons (no scholes or no keane types in the side other than maybe Rooney, who wasn't even on the bench).
Lastly, Manu**'s fans are getting soft - they made no real noise to push the team on - their sense of self-belief is not what you'd expect. I'm not sure if this is now status quo or a blip.
