We all know who is the "first" German, if his butt doesn't become permanently frozen to FSV Frankfurt's bench.

There is one Jamaican (actually Canadian/Jamaican) listed on transfermarkt.de. Janeill Hoilett, age 19, plays in the youth program of Bundesliga club Mainz 05. He is the brother of Robert Hoilett, who plays for Blackburn Rovers. At age 19, he will likely be a project if JFF gives him a tryout, and would probably start on one of the age-group teams.

Technically, Janeill plays for Mainz 05 II in the West Regional League of the German fourth division. Most, but not all, members of the team are U 23. There is no age restriction for the league. About half the teams in the league are reserve teams for Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 clubs, the others are small town independent teams.

The fourth division is made up of three regional leagues: North, West, and South.
