(Photo: Garfield Robinson)</SPAN></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><P class=StoryText align=justify>The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and local sports cable channel SportsMax have signed a four-year deal for the broadcasting of the Red Stripe Champions Cup for an undisclosed sum.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The official announcement was made during last evening's second round draw of teams for the Red Stripe Champions Cup at Cuddy'z Sports Bar in New Kingston.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"We have been looking to get involved in local football and found this competition (the Red Stripe Champions Cup) to be the most exciting on the senior football calendar," said SportsMax's CEO, Oliver McIntosh.<P class=StoryText align=justify>SportsMax, through its parent company International Media Content (IMC) and CVM television, will bring coverage of the knockout competition to television audience in Jamaica and 18 Caribbean countries.<P class=StoryText align=justify>In addition, coverage will also be extended to North America with highlight shows on Fox Soccer Channel.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Meanwhile, premiership teams Arnett Gardens and longstanding rivals Tivoli Gardens will face each other in the toughest match of the second round.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Other premier league clashes see August Town FC playing Reno; Boys' Town going against Naggo Head and Seba United facing Waterhouse.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Premier League leaders Harbour View FC will play Downs, while Montpelier square off with Wadadah, Village United play against Star Cosmos and Portmore United go up against Duhaney Park.<P class=StoryText align=justify>First leg matches will be played on February 21 and 22 with the return games on February 28 and March 1.
