I did not know King was a sex offender. I thought he was charged with assault from beating up the young lady at a night club.

You are right. He is a registered sex offender and will be so for seven years from the time he was proven guilty.

will the JFF give King the call for the qualifiers?
I personally think he should be given the chance as he could be the man to score the goals that take us to the World Cup.
What does the forumites think?

Why not? He does have talent and has proven he can score goals. The problem is he has NO discipline and cannot control his temper. If he has changed and is willing to play within a team structure then it should be a lock that he gets called up for future games...

I watched Bristol City v Birmingham City today, it was a very competitive game
which Birmingham won 0-2 all four Jamaicans started the game and all four had
good games. Marvin Elliott had a good game in midfield with his usual all action
display breaking up the play with his strong tackling and efficient use of the ball
he had a great strike from 20 yards in the first half which the keeper just got finger tips to and pushed it onto the bar. Jamal Campbell-Ryce was lively throughout playing right midfield causing the Birmingham full back a lot of problems with his pace and trickery(surely he can still do a job for the Boyz).
Damon Stewart had is hands full playing against an excellent Birmingham frontline but coped really well (there cant be many Jamaican centre backs better than him. Marlon King displayed a masterclass in how a striker should play. His hold up play was excellent his distribution superb and he always looked dangerous he would've had a couple of goals but for the Brilliance of David James in the Bristol City goal. Verdict- after watching King in the Europa
League on thursday against Club Brugge and today i can confirm that he is playing at the top of his game the rest is up to Tappa!!
