• Wenger admits foreign concern

Arsene Wenger has spoken out against the growing number of foreign owners coming to the Premiership, and laughed off speculation linking American businessman Stan Kroenke with a takeover of The Gunners.
Kroenke is the owner of Colorado Rapids and a partnership between the Major League Soccer side and Arsenal has been proposed.
Wenger admits Arsenal are exploring business opportunities across the Atlantic, but insisted any association with Colorado would be perfectly normal.
"We are trying to develop our brand in the States and we will have an agreement, to what extent is not set yet, but it will be a normal partnership that we have with many clubs," he told Sky Sports News.
"Don't worry, we will not become Arsenal Colorado."
Liverpool accepted a takeover offer from American duo George Gillett Jnr and Tom Hicks earlier this week, while Manchester United and Chelsea also have foreign owners.
But Wenger feels Premiership clubs need to be careful about letting the pattern continue, as the league runs the risk of losing its English identity

"I was never a big fan of that," he said.
"It all depends what the purpose is of people who come over, because the values of English football should be respected.
"I'm certain these people will, but you don't know."
