I am seeing some serious flashbacks to 2003 late in the campaigning for the presidency of the JFF. Burrell and his cronies have been using any means they can to drum up support for him in his bid for the CFU job.
Up to now they cant say how many other countries other than Jamaica have nominated him while the other man has listed about four others.

Be it resolved that in so far as Captain Horace Burrell President of The JFF and Acting President of the CFU, has served football in varied capacities for in excess of thirty years and during this time up to present has served FIFA on its Disciplinary Committee, this Board sees it as fit and proper to hereby express unreservedly its support for him in his bid to ascend to the office of the President of the CFU.
And be it further resolved that we support him as the best candidate in our opinion for the task of leading Caribbean football forward at this time and hereby wish him well in his bid and pledge our support in this task.
Given his track record of success in his tasks thus far we are confident in his ability to carry this success to the office that he aspires to.
