  • Manchester United report record profits

    Manchester United have reported record profits of £110.9 million for the past financial year.
    The Premier League champions also posted record revenue of £334.1 million – an increase of £45 million from last year.
    The club are preparing a partial flotation on the Singapore Stock Exchange as part of plans to raise £614 million.
    United’s owners have been accused of saddling the club with huge amounts of debt.
    The Glazers paid £800 million for the team in 2005.

      Still concerned with the plans Platnini have regarding teams playing in the UCL.
