Maybe not to you Mac ... what about the players? People can play blind all dem want ... it is abundantly clear what the aim of Jack ... sorry, the CFU is.

RE: Why all this uproar over the U17 competition?

They have proven time and time again that they will try to win competitions by taking the easiest route possible and then brag for years how only Brazil are better than them. If this is about giving the Caribbean teams a better chance at qualification then WHY WERE BOTH CUBA AND JAMAICA PUT INTO THE SAME FIRST ROUND GROUP WHEN THERE WAS ONLY ONE CERTAIN QUALIFIER FROM EACH GROUP.

See Mac the reason I ask this question is because Cuba has been spanking Trinidad at almost every level over the last few years so I dont think it is a stretch to say that if the "CFU" was looking to help the Caribbean do well in the qualifiers they would have been promoting Cuba to get there... and please don't tell me it's the luck of the draw that Cuba and Jamaica were placed in the same group because we see that there is no real 'draw' going on here... the only thing draw right now is a nasty card. But I give you props on one thing they always help Jamaica prepare better by giving us the supposedly harder draw in most competitions that we enter. HAITI JAMAICA AND CUBA WILL NOT GET AWAY FROM TOUGH FIRST ROUNDS ANYTIME SOON at least as long as the man from that little cesspool of a country is the President of the CFU.

I see both arguments. I would rather the tougher competition. However I could see where one could argue that Burrell oops I mean the CFU dont want Jamaica to repeat. Having said that I think it will make the boys stronger but at the crux of the issue is you cannot change the format in the middle of the competition.

I think we should see how this thing plays out before we start attacking Jack. Jamaica has advance to the CFU U-16 final and concacaf U-16 final group stage.

I wonder where the CFU's Senior VP was when all this was going down? I assume since I have no other evidence to the contrary that the decision was taken at a full meeting of the CFU executive since Jack the Ripper could not just consult with his son and decide to make the switch like that.

Maybe the Forum can show some teeth and demand the Senior VP show some accountability.

Afterall the RBz forum must serve some purpose other than to serve as a blog.

Not hitting you directly...but, the anti-Burrell faction wants to have it all sort of different ways all at once.

                      a) Jack is a bitch! He has always been doing 'things' to benefit Trinidad and Tobago. (Which ofcourse means he has done this to Jamaica during Burrell's reign)...

...and, also at the same time...

                      b) It is Burrell's fault he is working behind the scene to haveBoxhill fail...

                      The logic is crazy!

I am still asking, how was thedecision to make the change done?

I am happy to see that, after "a" & "b" aboveyou are suggesting adding of thetheory that the decisioncould have been one made by the CFU Executive?

I am sure there are other possible ways the decision could have been made.I would love to know that "the how"?
