  • U-23 Boyz beat Cayman 1-0

Yeah, hard to believe! They now have to beat Surinam on Sunday. Surinam had beaten the Caymanians 5-0!

Oh well! Let's see if they have the fight in them to progress out of this round.

Can't say I am surprised. Our team is very ordinary. Normally our under 23 teams are poor, but have two or so special players. Not this team...

                  Just heard on Sports news.
Jamaica's U-23 Reggae Boyz knocked out of Olympic qualifiers through controversial penalty to Suriname after leading 2-1 with a minute to go.

it probably was a tiefing penalty but we put ourselves in that position, that we had to win, while they only needed a draw.

Better them out now than get the 6-0 later on. A bunch of defenders from the under 21 local league was never going to cut it in an Under 23 competition. Youth program need to focus on the next set of under 20 ballers and under 17 ballers.
