  • Tigers maul sorry Liverpool

Hull City spoiled Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson's Liverpool debuts with an impressive 3-0 win at the KC Stadium.
England duo Downing and Henderson were handed their first outings for Liverpool since their big-money arrivals from Aston Villa and Sunderland respectively, but it was not an occasion to remember.
Fellow new signing Alexander Doni also made his debut for Kenny Dalglish's side, but he was beaten twice before the break.
Hull broke the deadlock on 21 minutes with a superb strike from on-loan Manchester United youngster Robbie Brady.
The home side doubled their lead 13 minutes later when Slovenian international Robert Koren found the net after working a one-two with Aaron McLean.
Dalglish made 11 changes at the break as he tries to get his squad fit for the new season with Henderson and Downing making their bows.
Downing went close to scoring two minutes after his introduction when he saw his shot superbly saved by Hull keeper Adriano Basso.
Hull added a third just before the hour when Jay Simpson scored from close-range to condemn Liverpool to their first defeat of pre-season

Two different halfs ,2 different teams and we have yet to field a strong starting 11.No Reina ,skertel, johnson,Lucas ,Saurez....as for aquallani , did well as usual one or some say the bright spark of the 1st half Ngog gave a Shelton like performance. Our defence had two U18s on both flanks and they did well , we seem to give opponents room on the periphery of the 18 yard box to our detriment.Polusen the Hodgson mole isnt on par with Lucas to shut them down.....He really needs to be sold.

Our defence seems to let in soft goals, 2 of the goals were scored from out of the 18 yard box and the 3rd looked like an offside.Kenny plays adam with the obvious starting 11..kuyt...downing ...Carroll is rounding into form, got all the crosses on his head and created havoc.....aquallani will push himself in that starting 11.Charlie adam seems to be the hype for the papers but on the fan sites its aquallani...class by himself....i didnt see a bad ball played or sprayed by the man , voted best player in the 1st half.

Friendlys ,gaining form,Kenny is making them prove themselves , who muss weed out weed out, J Cole & Poluson really have to go , yuh think Ngog was bad , cole was worse. The two youths played a good game , nothing beat them on the wings ,its the defensive midfield position and gaurding that 18 yard line where we suffer, nuh worry Rafas boy Lucas cut his vacation short to join us in pre season.

Aquallani just stood out amongst the boys......class....and someone said he couldnt handle the english game ?

Silly rhetoric ,this guy comes from one of the most physical leagues in the world and a national team thats plays a defensive game to being labelled as too soft for the english game ?.....So ballotelli is soft too ?Aquallani came with a broken foot !

                    Pure class.
