    - Trinidad & Tobago will host the 2007 Digicel Caribbean Cup Finals next January where three teams qualify to the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup™ that will take place in the USA from 6-24 June.

    The 2007 Digicel Caribbean Cup will begin first round with six groups of four teams each and hosted in six different nations from 2 September – 1 October 2006.

    The second round will involve the top two teams from each group competing in four groups and will be contested during October/November 2006 at venues to be announced and then the Finals in Trinidad & Tobago from 31 January - 11 February.

    “This promises to be a very exciting and action packed tournament which will go a very long way in the uplifting of football in this region,” said CONCACAF President Jack Warner.

    The Netherlands Antilles will stage Group A during the first round of the Digicel Caribbean Cup, while Groups B & C will take place in Antigua & Barbuda and US Virgin Islands, respectively.

    Jamaica, who won the last Digicel Caribbean Cup in 2005, is hosting Group D, while Cuba and Guadeloupe are staging Groups E and F, respectively.
