Mexico's Copa America campaign has been rocked before the tournament has even begun will eight of the team sent home for allegedly having prostitutes in their hotel rooms.
The eight players, none of whom play in the Premier League or other English divisions, have been suspended for six months as a result of the violation.

The scandal came to light after some players complained of having laptops, iPads, mobile phones and cash stolen from their rooms. In the investigation that followed, CCTV footage showed a squad official chaperoning prostitutes along the corridor of the team’s training camp hotel.
According to hotel manager Robert Ramia, condoms and discarded room keys were found in the waste bins in the room shared by Jonathan dos Santos and Nestor Vidrio.
Those involved, who have been named as Israel Jimenez, Nestor Vidrio, Jonathan Dos Santos, Marco Fabian, Jorge Hernandez, Javier Cortes, David Cabrera and Nestor Calderon, were also fined £3,000.
'I am not going into details of what happened,' said Hector Gonzalez Inarritu, director of team selection. 'The rules were broken, the code of discipline was broken and I have to act.

'The players confessed,' Gonzalez added. 'They are very hurt, very sorry and they have said they are sorry to their fans. They are assuming the consequences.'
The players are expected to be replaced, with the tournament kicking off on Friday in La Plata, Argentina, with Mexico's campaigning beginning on Monday when they face Chile.
