Dr. Gordon, who hails from Manchester, served as President of the JFF from 1965 – 1967.
As the first President he was instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition from the Jamaica Football Association to the JFF.
He is known to have paid keen attention to the financial state of the Federation in its early years.
Dr. Gordon died of natural causes. He was 83-years-old.
