[/B]
The 20-year-old who was slowed up by an injury has struck five goals in his last four games in tandem with Larsson.
ÒHe is a good player and a good person,Ó said Shelton, adding that the player who represented Barcelona last season, talks to him a lot.
ÒThe whole thing is a good experience and I can and am learning a lot from him. Basically I look up to him as a role model,Ó added the former Harbour View player, who has represented Jamaica at every level and scored freely.
According to Shelton the understanding between himself and Larrson was almost immediate.
"Even when we just started the understanding between us was very good. I think we understand each other really well on the field. We started three games together and we really clicked. I picked up a slight injury after that and came off the bench for the next two games and scored," said Shelton, who only recently secured a permanent move to Helsinborg.
After regaining full fitness, Shelton regained his starting place last Sunday and scored the winner for his club. On Saturday he started once more alongside Larsson and scored twice to give his team a 3-2 win. Larrson scored the other goal.
While everything is going fine at club level it is a return to international football that Shelton craves.
"I am really looking forward to the game against Canada on September 4, if I am called," said the player who is eager to get the better of his new-found friend, Canadian Atiba Hutchinson of FC Copenhagen, a player he journeyed to Denmark to watch in a Champions League playoff against Ajax recently
[/b]
