TOLUCA, Mexico — Goalkeeper Odean Clarke spent a night in hospital after suffering a cerebral concussion during the Jamaica Under-17s' 3-0 victory over Reforma Athletics club on Friday.
Up to press time yesterday evening, Clarke, was still in hospital and was expected to be released soon following Ct Scan and X-ray which had normal results.

Dr Ivor O'Connor said a cerebral concussion is a blow to the head and the injured person loses consciousness briefly.
"He is being kept in hospital for neurological observation for 24 hours, but we are trying to get him out," O'Connor told the Sunday Observer yesterday.
Clarke's injury put a damper on an impressive display by the young Reggae Boyz, who dispatched a senior Reforma Athletics team.
Goals by Shawn Lawson (21st), Andre Lewis (56th) and substitute Anthony Walker (59th) ensured a morale-boosting result for the Jamaicans in high altitude conditions with which they are not familiar.
Canadian-based Lawson headed in the first goal from a corner kick, before St George's College student Lewis finished off a brilliant build-up. Rusea's student Walker then scored the goal of the game with a scorching 30-metre shot on the run that whistled past goalkeeper Dido Alvarez.
Head coach Wendell Downswell said he was surprised at how well the boys adapted to the conditions.
"We expected a number of them to be taking oxygen, which was good, so overall they have adapted well. The game overall, tactically, it was one of the better games they have played since we have played in the World Cup Qualifiers," said Downswell.
"The level of discipline was good, the team shape and organisation, they carried that well. The goals that they scored were good goals, so I think this will do a lot for them in terms of their confidence going into the World Cup," he added.
"We are confident they will make the necessary improvement going forward and they will use that as a benchmark. Their intentions are to improve individually and ultimately as a team," he noted.
"So far the tour has been a resounding success and if things continue along that trend, it will speak volumes for the team," said Downswell.
