  • El Salvador 2-0 Cuba (Start Of 2nd Half)

El Salvador leads Cuba 2-0 at the start of the second half. El Salvador missed an easy tap in on a rebound from three yards out. Dennis Alas popped the ball over the crossbar with a wide open net staring him in the face.

    El Salvador 6-1 Cuba FINAL

El Salvador MUST attack to make up goal difference for a third-place spot in the second round, or possibly overtake Costa Rica for second place, should Costa Rica lose. El Salvador needs to make up a goal difference of 5.

    3-0 (68 min)

    4-0 (70 min)

4-1 (82 min) Cuba scores on a sweet set piece

5-1 (82 min) El Salvador takes the ball down the field and scores from a tough angle.

6-1 (90 +3) The goal came about 10 seconds after the 3 minutes of extra time expired, after Cuba had a goal not given for offside. Also, an El Salvador player was hauled down by his arm in the box, but the T&T referee Neil Brizan did not give the penalty.

Despite the score, Cuba played an honest game for all 90 minutes. They did not quit like Grenada.
