PRESIDENT/COO TO HEAD HISTORICAL SOCCER MUSEUM
ONEONTA, N.Y. (January 23, 2007) – The National Soccer Hall of Fame located in Oneonta, N.Y., is seeking a new President and Chief Operating Officer to provide vision, leadership and management in further developing the NSHOF into a prominent, well-financed national sports museum. The NSHOF is a 501 C3 not-for-profit organization.
The successful candidate will lead the NSHOF in financial matters including fundraising, financial planning and management; public relations and marketing, including developing relationships with relevant leaders and organizations in the public and private sectors; guiding marketing and media strategies and increasing the national profile of the NSHOF. Responsibilities will also include development and implementation of a business plan, organizational development, management of operations and staff and the development and implementation of operational policies to include application of Internet technologies to the museum experience.
