FALMOUTH, Trelawny - A late goal from former national striker Fabian Taylor gave 10-man Harbour View a 1-0 win over a gallant Wadadah in their Wray and Nephew National Premier League (NPL) second round game at the Elliston Wakeland Centre in Falmouth yesterday.
In a late match yesterday, leaders Waterhouse stopped Reno in their tracks 1-0 courtesy of a Brian Wollaston goal in the fourth minute at Drewsland.
In Trelawny,Taylor scored three minutes into time added on at the end of the game as the Lenworth Hyde-coached Harbour View won for the second time at the venue in five days after beating Village here on Wednesday. Greg Taylor was given marching orders in the 18th minute after flattening Wadadah defender Leroy Housen in an off-the-ball incident.
The loss spoiled an outstanding game for the Wadadah goalkeeper, Gavine Barrett, who pulled off a series of outstanding saves to keep his team in the game.
The three points helped Harbour View to maintain at least a share of the lead on points as they move to 40.
Harbour View's coach, Lenny Hyde, said his team "worked hard throughout the 90 minutes".
Wadadah's boss, Anthony 'Follies' Williams, was angry at the end. "We (coaching staff) have been shouting instructions to lock shop and you must know when it is time to lock shop," he said.
He said his team must show more resilience and must understand the importance of sticking to the game plan.
With the game appeared heading for a draw, Taylor collected a pass from another substitute, Kemar Petrekin, turned past two defenders and just placed the ball out of goalkeeper Barrett's reach.
Harbour View won 3-0 in the Under-21 curtain-raiser.
Teams:
Wadadah - Gavine Barret, Kirk Hendricks, Omar Kerr Raphael Palmer 33rd), Leroy Housen, Christopher Currie, Glenworth Benjamin (Torey Samuels 73rd), Rohan Reid, Daniel Ricketts, Mark Williams, Arval Campbell, Jermaine Anderson (Sion Thorpe 82nd)

He is CRAP, cant see what you all see in him, no ball, control, no skills...oops, what just happened, I saw the post and was about to respond when my body just felt funny and next thinbg i know there are these words on the screen - ha ha ha ha.

Actually he had a very good game, as most of the HV attacks were built up from the left and he and Lovell created a great tandem.

It would be good to see him get back in the national programme to strengthen our left side along with Reid and Bibi
