Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.

The U17 team survived a nervy second half to come out with a 2:1 victory over Honduras.
In the first half, they had the better of the possession and scoring chances. Holness is really a very good player and for me was Man of the Match even though Walters did score both goals.
The defense in the first half was decent. But the team was very one dimensional. All attack, and I do mean all attacks went up the right side of the field. The team also did a lot of long passes and for the most part bypassed the midfield.
There were two chances that I remember well for the team. Holness had a really great shot from about 30 yards out and the Honduran goal keeper made a good save. Also there was a corner that almost went it except for a good save again by the keeper from Honduras.
JA scored two good goals, the first in the first half and the second goal in the first minute of the second half.
During the second half, Honduras had the better of the exchanges and goal scoring chances. The whole team defense was a bit shaky. Honduras scored a good goal from a corner. The goal was scored by the substitute after only being on the field for about 1 minute. That same player was creating havoc for the Jamaican defense. JA held on for dear life to survive with the win. This was not a great win by any stretch of the imagination. Late in the second half the defense left two Honduran players on the far post who missed a sitter.
Mac.. you were either drinking copiously before and during the game or immediately after..
1. Nobody name Walter scored for Jamaica
2. Honduras goal was scored from a attack developed on the right side which culminated in a square and a very good header.
This was a great win by the fact that is qualified the winning team for the World Cup.
El Salvador did not have a shot on goal until the 51st Minute... Jamaica were easily 2 goals better and dominated for the majority of the game.
Interesting Game and observations. Good win! Holness did not have a good game, he showed good heart and leadership but was sick from the get go and as a matter of fact threw up all is orange powerade in centre circle 2 minutes in. That was is first of two episodes. He is their best player but did not play well and should have been subbed very early to be honest. The 11 talent was terrible, should have been replaced instead of Shauan Lawson who had a very good game with very intelligent one touch passes. The GK was ok not much work but much to do with him before mexico. WD is still a poor coach, and I can see why Jamaican coaches talk about not playing to instructions when they loose. He has no clue really. Very demonstrative but little meaningnful info to the players. Defensively we were better than last game but again 11 should be off at half time and the captain was in effective. From a non football point it was interested to see the jff big wigs in their extra vip more worried who was in the exclusive vip without the proper wristband than what was happening on the field. Also it was interested to see the first interview after the game . Anyway good win need much improvement...
