Why can't Jamaica(ns) produce world class football pitches.

Considering the lush tropical climate ...compared to temporate counterparts.

This incompetent fact surfaced--when outside professionals were called in to sod the pitch at the national stadium several years ago.

I look at pitches in England and even Russia... and most of them are in excellent condition.

Is there something about football pitch landscaping that is too advance (or mystical) for a local enterprise to adopt?

Get a greenskeeper from one of the golf courses to do it... part of the problem is that maybe we feel that once grass on the pitch it's good to go.... if you have no standard to measure by, well...

the fact is politicans hire their friends and not necessarily trained people.
That wouldn't happen at Brancourt, Halfmoon golf course, Runaway Bay gulf course or any of the major hotels. Independent Park Limited control Stadium and Trelawny stadium so.......
