Stoke star Ricardo Fuller has been forced to train with the club’s kids after a bust-up with Tony Pulis over a new contract.
The 6ft 3in Jamaican striker, 31, is out-of-contract at the Britannia Stadium in 2012.
He has been chasing a new deal at the Potters since the summer after expressing a desire to finish his career at Stoke.
Fuller is hugely popular among fans after being the club’s top scorer for the past four seasons.
But Fuller’s patience with the club over their reluctance to give him extended terms has worn thin.
He had a stormy meeting with Pulis last week over the issue.
And Stoke boss Pulis has responded by sticking the striker with the club’s youngsters and fellow out-of-favour forward Eidur Gudjohnsen.
Now Fuller, signed from Southampton in August 2006, could be set for a shock exit.
But Pulis said yesterday Fuller is back in contention for tonight’s FA Cup replay at Cardiff after missing Saturday’s win over Bolton due to a family bereavement.
