Anyhow, If Kenny does as badly or worse, of course he would not be as badly treated as R.H. I think the fans will give Dalgliesh a lot more room for error and as such the pressure might be less on him, and hopefully lead to better results... that's my hope. We shall see.

would he be among the top five to coach Spain, Brazil or Ghana? agree he wouldnt simply because Spain, Brazil always appoint from their own nationality as manager.

I doubt the top five prem would be after him...you think he could end up at Chelsea - i doubt it too based on that the top prem teams like Chelsea now want today's hot name brand managers.

But P, you dont think something stinks about that from the fans that sing 'You'll never walk alone'?

Sorry - this appointment was a mistake on so many fronts I can't even begin to tell. Kenny is not the long term choice, so I don't know why the owners would have put themselves in this position. If they do not give Kenny funds to buy in January, the fans are going to blame the new owners if his performances are sub par. If they do give him funds and he "fails", then he has tarnished his record and a new manager will now have to "rebuild" the club all over again with a new set of players, further setting the club back.

Unfortunately SUCCESS is a very difficult thing to define, but absent Arab oil money, we don't have a good outlook if we finish outside the top 4 as funds will again be constrained. So when you think about it, where can King Kenny get us? Sixth? And then what? A new manager? The unfortunate thing here is that the club is in serious decline and the only way to get out is with a) the RIGHT manager and b) a heap of $. Both of which we don't have.

      YNWA.
