In re: to Berba, then the Cantona factor being as he was considered to be nearest player at the time able to fill the role and have the influence/impact Cantona had.

Why? Because sometimes he plays with his collar up? I've only heard fans make that comparison. As a MU fan, that isn't a factor for me.

So will Hargreaves be moving on to retirement? Or will some team actually be willing to take a chance on him?

Look at Saha? At MU he was injuried after every 3 games, now he is contributing at Everton.

Add Sheringham to that too. Players who can hold the ball up, link and bring fellow colleagues into play, and contribute goals. When compared to those two players impact/influence on utd. Anyone mus agree, Berba hasnt contributed as much as them two guys especially when comparing the fee paid.

Yuh remember last season how in almost every game a Valencia cross led to a Rooney goal? Think back, or if yuh still have any recording of the Empire, look and you'll see most of the time, Berba was the one that released Valencia to cross the ball. Think back to Javier's goal against Stoke, who played the ball to Nani for the cross?

Berbatov has been contributing, but because he wasn't grabbing the headlines like Rooney and Ronaldo people think he wasn't pulling his weight.

So are your saying Berba's (so far) has being value for the money laid out?

For all of Saha's injury problems there it is still not a good comparison to the kind that Hargreaves has been suffering from.

In 4 seasons with Man Utd, Saha played in 86 league games.

In 3.5 seasons with Man Utd, Hargreaves has played in a total of 27 league games.
