There are those on this very forum that to this day blame SAF for Tevez leaving the Empire for the Wastelands.
IF SLURGIE WANTED TEVEZ then he sure went about it the wrong way. If he didn't want him, then why did he make the 11th hour pitch? I believe Slurgie wanted him and messed up the whole affair. That happens. The Jorabchian element is important, but I think that it would have been secondary had the relationship between Slurgie and Tevez not broken down."Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." I'm thinking they wanted to assembly a 'Galacticos' at the Wasteland and Tevez knew about it and wanted to be apart of it. Noticed when the Rooney was leaving argument came out, how many times Tevez said he wanted Rooney at the Wastelands, now than Rooney decide to stay put Tevez and his camp start talking bout broken promises?
By the way, word is Adebayor may be on his way to Liverpool."Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)
