Blackburn sack manager Allardyce
Blackburn announced they have sacked manager Sam Allardyce.
Allardyce was relieved of his duties along with his assistant Neil McDonald by the club's new owners, the Venky's Group from India.
Blackburn have lost three out of their last five games, including a 2-1 defeat by his former club Bolton on Sunday.
"We have taken this decision as part of our wider plans and ambitions for the club," Rovers said in a statement on their website on Monday.
Rovers are currently 13th in the Premier League, five points above the relegation zone.
Current first-team coach Steve Kean will take temporary charge of the club.

that is crap. With the team he has he has over achieved. Now Indian man come in with money and they want control of football matters and Big Sam will not give up that control.

Haughton goes deeper than that. My opinion is that Haughton would't make it in Newcastle as there is some racism up there that wouldn't allow it. At no time Newcastle ever gave the man a contract. Imagine most coach who get promoted get rewarded with a contract but Ashley and crew all noe didn't give him a contract.
The start Newcastle had is a good one and not one to dismiss Haughton and add insult to injury the employed a coach that is not a proven winner.- Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Haughton was simple not going to get it. He was considered a black temp coach who overachieved by the Newcastle. At no stage was Newcastle going to give it to him, if he had demanded it he would have simply been out of the door long time and seems like he was just money hungry.
