Well - Ngog and Torres missed sitters and Skrtel...well...what can I say. It would have been a tough nut for Roy to sit and watch. Newcastle played with more drive. It is increasingly obvious to me that we are desperately lacking a) real wingers (maybe GJ should move up to the right wing) and b) no central midfield maestro (and Gerrard ain't one of those to me anyway). When Gerrard comes back, he should play up front with Torres; Kuyt should play in behind them and be allowed to go all over the park and Babel should play left wing, not Maxi. Some motivation away from home is needed too... the away performances are on par with the worst teams... goal production is low and defence becomes leaky in away stadiums.Peter R
