Check back the subject heading. I am not talking about players merely trying to get a pro career at football (soccer). I am saying the great football players do not go to college. (Spare me the exceptions!) For them, that is the standard approach - avoid college!

thanks Peter R. Good talk sah. There are some Pro athletes who actually promise their parents or teachers etc. that at whatever cost even after career or during career they will get their degree. Look at some NBA players who go back to college on their off season and others like Shaq who actually graduate while in the league.

But as you say never too old.

        We'll turn out greats.
We have only just begun the journey.
