Yes. Before the match, the stewards tried to probe the ground with pitch forks. The result was that the pitchforks were severly damaged becasue the field was frozen rock hard. That meant the field was unsafe for play."Jah Jah see dem a come, but I & I a Conqueror!" -
just saw the pitch was frozen... you'd think they'd prepare for this...
gives the manutes and blackpool a chance to rest up; not a bad thing for them, but i suppose they might have to double up later.Peter R

how so? Memba that Blackpool is a very small club that over achieved.
Even a few years ago games was postpone at Villa because of weather. They state that not only were they concerned about the field but people going to the game.
