  • Ref was much too harsh on Wigan

The first ejection was a second yellow that the ref should have looked past. Most refs are not quick to give a second yellow unless there is an egregious foul or numerous fouls by the player. Sure it was a late tackle, but the ref should have blown the whistle and let that be it.

The second ejection, while a two footed tackle, saw the player get the ball and not really leap into the air. It should have been a yellow at worst.

The we should not forget the first half. A Wigan player could have earned a penalty which could have cahnged the game completely.

So for me, while Man U won, I dont feel good on a day when Arsenal lost, Chelsea is behind and we could ascend to the top.

Can't agree on the second. Two foot tackle, either on the ground or in the air is very dangerous and must be stamped out of the game.

He should have received a yellow for that. He got the ball and really did not hurt the other player. Especially after the first sending off, the ref should have been more lenient.

He took the life out of the game.

By the way Asassin, welcome to the Man United fold.

I need to talk to you offline. I have passed through Windsor Castle and I need you to do some research on a matter there for me, please.
