Fears that Reggae Boyz striker, Ricardo Fuller, would not be available for Sunday's friendly international against Caribbean arch-rivals Trinidad and Tobago have been dismissed, with the player expected to join up with the rest of the team after arriving in the island
today.

Initially, it had been thought that Fuller, who suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder and was forced to leave the field on a stretcher while playing for English Premier League club Stoke City against Newcastle last weekend, would not be fit in time to face the Soca Warriors.

However, further checks revealed that there had been no major damage suffered and the 30-year-old forward, who was passed fit after undergoing a medical, was able to play the last 12 minutes of Stoke's weekend encounter against Blackburn.

No way should Fuller (especially coming off an injury) or any other player who will not be in the Digicel Cup be included in these warm up games...moreso against a minnow like T'dad....unless they need int'l games to maintain or get status for Babylon.

These games should be for the Digicel squad to gel and for locals to get more exposure...which is what T'dad seems to be doing.

Why shouldnt Fuller play in this game if called up? He isnt injured as first thought and im sure he wont play a full 90 mins anyway. And another thing, he's been in England long enough now, I dont think he requires a work permit if he were to join a new club.
