FIFA President, Joseph S. Blatter will pay a twenty-four hour visit to Jamaica on Sunday, September 26. President Blatter will be accompanied by FIFA Vice-President and CONCACAF President, Jack Warner and a delegation of FIFA officials.
Mr. Blatter will be visiting the island to inaugurate the Jamaica Football Federation Technical Center (Goal Project 1) at the UWI Bowl of Excellence and conduct the Official Ground Breaking for the FIFA Goal Project 2 at the same location. This will take place on Monday, September 27, at 10:00 am.
Mr. Blatter arrives in the island at 1:30 pm on September 26.
During his stay the FIFA President will address the JFF Board of Directors on Sunday at 4:00 pm. He will also attend a Cocktail Reception in his honour to be hosted by the Hon. Olivia Grange, Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture to be held on Sunday, September 26 on the lawns of Jamaica House.
