Champions League Trivia (Did You Know...)
Sean Franklin (LA Galaxy) scored the 500th goal in CONCACAF Champions League history when he netted what proved to be the winner in the second leg of the Preliminary Round encounter with the Puerto Rico Islanders. The goal gave the Galaxy the victory on the evening, but the MLS side crashed out of the competition 5-3 on aggregate, following a 1-4 defeat at the Home Depot Center in the first leg.
