mek transition a theme on this board. Massive the key to the modern game is transition if the ball cannot be moved smoothly from the back up to the attacking third you are wasting your time. Stronger teams will pick you off with ease either by pronlonging the stay of the ball in your defensive third (hence forcing a mistake; see Ja vs Arg game) or by simply scoring. Personally I think we are over projecting ourselves in this game and leaving out the fundamentals.
