I was away on vacation for a while but managed to see last week's EPL roundup. WTF wrong with Tony Pulis? How can he have Fuller on the bench? Is there some rift between them? It just doesn't make any sense to have your leading goal scorer and game changer on the bench. Fuller's accomplishment for Stokes are well documented. Now that Gudjhassen (sp) has arrived, what's going to happen to Fuller?

Bibi days are very numbered at Bolton. He's had a very good run and I hope he saved his money.

Strategy maybe! Sometimes coaches keep their good ...but aging...stars on the bench in order to preserve their legs for the long season. Ricardo might get to start some games but, being a "tyad legs," Tony Pulis will lessen his minutes so that nearing the end of the season he will have enough left back in the tank to contribute. Just keep in mind that Wily Boo is no longer a spring chicken.

That would make sense if the team was winning or had better options, but that is not the case. They are yet to win a game out of 3 starts, scored only 2 goals with Fuller being one of the scorers, the next scorer being a defender.....makes no damn sense. He has been their leading goalscorer since he has been at the club since 2006......even when he is coming off the bench.

Jangle it plain and simple, Pulis know nothing about the attacking side of the game. He is a defensive minded coach and then wonder why his side don't score more goals.

He has Edgrington, Fuller and The turk who are dangerous going forward along with Liam Lawerence but he doesn't play them at once and then wonder why his team don't score. The only offensive his side has is the free throw, Edrington breakaway down the wing or fuller making a play from nothing. Same thing he does to Fuller and when his first choice can't score he goes back to Fuller. Now they have Gudjohnson and Penant and we will see how that workout.

Pulis is an old time British coach and simply doesn't know any better. Mid table is about as far as he can take a team.

Brethren, you just buy some forwards with the mantra that you won't bring in any player that is not better than what you already have. If this is the case, who are you going to start once the new boys them come in?
