In May 2010, the CONCACAF Executive Committee announced a proposed change in its qualifying format for the 2014 World Cup, which would start with a preliminary knockout stage followed by three group phases.[1]

Is this good or bad for the Reggae Boyz. We are talking about 18 to 22 games to qualify for the World Cup.

I think that the more games the Boyz play the better they will get to compete more against Mexico and the US. And the plus would be marketing for tougher teams from Europe wanting to play us in friendlies.

fifa and Bigsoccer . Now to your Question , Concacaf new format good
or bad , ITs good because the final round will be 2 additional teams ,
The hexagon final round (the former format ) only take six this format takes 8 with less games better for caribbean teams and players who plays in Norway ,England etc , the only thing
with this new format is if a team finish 2nd in final round and enter
two consecutive playoff ... could be nervy !

The irony is I remembered my password for the forum but somehow couldn't get access. So I had to wait over at the Soca Warriors site until the mods gave me a new password.

Now as I said the more games for the Reggae Boyz the better they will improve their game. Plus we all know how the Boyz are willing to play any team at any time. Example: the friendly against South Africa in Germany at the last minute.
