RE: Apologies to Onandi Lowe

...and one of the most technically complete player from the region...
Guy St Vill (Haiti)?
Dwight Yorke (Trinidad)?
Lattapy (Trinidad)?
Lewinson Lewis (Trinidad)?
Allan "Skill" Cole" (Jamaica)?
Lindy Delaphena (Jamaica)?
John Barnes (Jamaica)?
Peter "Dove" Marston (Jamaica)
Theodore "Tappa" Whitmore (Jamaica)?
Anthony "Badas" Corbett (Jamaica)?
Paulo Wanchope (Costa Rica)?
Hugo Sanchez (Mexico)?
Just asking?
Lowe - His touch was underrated! So was his speed and quickness!
He was a tremendous striker of the ball! Scored some spectacular goals!
It is a fact that he could have been a 1000% times a better player! ...and, he washorribly unfairly treated by referees!
It is also a fact that there is this myth that he was a prolific scorer of goals for theREGGAE BOYZ.Sure he was one of our top goal scorers...but, all our goal-scorers were infrequent scorers of goals.
Potential to be prolific at the national level? Without a doubt! He hurt himself by being in the early part of his 'national football team life'...as player, anti-TEAM. Too rarely shared the ball with his TEAMates...and, did not work hard for TEAM when without the ball.
In his later years that anti-TEAMtendency he seemed to have been overcoming when he ran into his problems with the British authorities.
I believe in both his early years and his later years when playing as striker his service of ball contributed to his rate of scoring being less than it could have been. He would have been better served receiving balls going forward...running at goal.Outside of some of his Free-Kicks, he always showed his best running forward and releasing his bombs from his trusty left.
The great questions are can he regain full fitness...and, has he grown as a person. Yup -improved maturity improves TEAMplay...and, composure!
