I think the topic was worth it's stick.
The final to me was the exact 'tone' of most of the other 60 something games..........
That is: football has evolved into an offensive game.
Saturday's game was more open--and interesting. Both country played to win. It was not just fete.
My support was behind Uruguay..but hey--just wait till 2014.
Some pundits attempted to inject past historical differences between Spain and The Netherlands...as if that would make for more interesting play........... ~sigh~The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough
