    The missing of those offsides...downright ridiculous.

    TV coverage got better,the game is faster....need technology.

      You are right. Back in the day, we could not so easily scruitinize these plays to see the mistakes.

          The game needs two additional officials who could monitor each goal, or a sensor in the ball that would send an alarm to the ref if a true goal is scored. Video replay to assist the ref is off the radar until a new Prez who is open to modern devices is elected at FIFA. There will always be offside controversies.

                  Why not?

                  Sides would cope with it.

                  Opponents say it will promote kick and run ball, but I dont agree.

                      These mistakes (the offsides) are wrong calls on point of law. You know the law or you do not.

                      The disallowed good England goal and fair tackles being called 'foul'- Eyesight issue?

                      The other set had to do with knowing the game - e.g. making a back or 'climbing' all over your opponent.
