December 21, 2006 - Miami FC is excited to announce the official tryouts for the 2007 season. After a successful inaugural year, Miami FC is looking to strengthen the team and to give the opportunity to new talented players from throughout the United States as well as globally to show their skills and possibly wear the official Miami FC jersey in 2007.
The tryouts will be held from January 29 through February 02, 2007 at Tropical Park Stadium.
Candidates will be able to register online at www.miamifc.com or by mail from December 22, 2006 through January 22, 2007. All information regarding the tryouts, the registration process and registration forms are available at Miami FC's website.
“We are looking forward to the tryouts and the possibility of finding new talent. It will be the opportunity to repeat the success of our first tryouts in 2005, when we spotted players such as Stephane Guillaume, Walter Ramirez, and Yaikel Perez. We know South Florida is home to players with enormous talent and hope we can see them in our tryouts,” commented Luiz Muzzi, General Manager of Miami FC.
Chiquinho de Assis, Miami FC Head Coach, together with Miami FC coaching staff will be coordinating the tryouts and evaluating the athletes.
All tryout sessions will be open to the media and fans at Tropical Park Stadium.
