I find it extremely ironic that an African with an Iberian last name playing for Switzerland delivers the death blow to Spain in group H play yesterday. Even more so that the Spanish side is loaded with what many consider to be at least 10-15 of the best 50 players in the world, then this lowly ranked Swiss team with no possible chance beats them 1-0 and the guy that delivers the final blow is named Fernandes and he is of African origin, you can't make this stuff up.
There was also this other African that struck at the heart of Spain many years ago that impact lasted for close to 800 years, some say the impact changed the course of Europe.
